Welch Excavation & Utility Co. is a premier provider of excavation and utility services, specializing in delivering comprehensive solutions for residential, commercial, and…
An employee from the firm assured payment upon completion of the job. However, 55 days after fulfilling our obligations, we are still awaiting compensation. A quick investigation into the firm reveals that this is not an isolated incident; other reviewers and subcontractors have faced similar issues. Unusually, they requested paperwork that is typically required before starting a project, only after the job was completed. I suspect this was a deliberate tactic to delay the process and scrutinize whether we were indeed entitled to payment. Had we not had the proper structure in place, I shudder to think what they might have done to others. Google reviews is only one platform, and social media is a strong empowering tool that can shed light on such practices. We are resolute in our decision: once payment is recovered, we will NEVER engage in business with this firm or any of its employees in the future. Update: received delayed payments after weekly/daily emails and paperwork. No further comment at this time
Welch Excavation is a great company as a current driver, and right at 3 years, I have no complaints
This is a company that will not pay their bills , I hired on with them doing some hauling in alabama in April and they have told me my invoice was only 30 days over due and that I could turn the invoice over to a collection agency !! Well my lawyer will be getting in touch with them and I plan to sue them and also tell everyone I know David these crooks !! Update status after 64 days and me posting this information they paid me my money !! I still would not recommend working for them as they are slow about paying their bills

Had my own water well for 17 years. Had to put up with iron or taste & smell. White clothes would come out of wash a beige color. Switched over to Star Mnt. Water 5 yrs ago and am completely satisfied with quality and service. May not be the best, but sure beats iron ore well water !!!!!
The water is barely drinkable and five days late incurs a $17.50 late penalty, this is outrageous! If there was anothe company I could go through I would, but they have a monopoly out here.
Their water stinks and leaves a film on you after taking a shower, the late fees are gouging, office hours are really hard for a single working adult to work around, if you get the bill Before it is late or at all it was a miracle, and you can not look up your bill online they want that $17.50 late fee.
